Halley joined MAXCourage in January 2025 after a career in Annual Giving fundraising at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Pine Street Inn. Since joining the organization, she has helped lead significant program and fundraising growth, including expanding MAXCourage to more than a dozen new sites serving hundreds of students globally. She has also played a key role in connecting new supporters to MAXCourage’s mission and strengthening the organization’s internal infrastructure to support sustainable growth. A graduate of Northwestern University, Halley majored in Sociology with a concentration in social inequality. She has been passionate about nonprofit work and community service throughout her life and has dedicated her career to supporting organizations that create meaningful, long-term impact. Outside of work, Halley enjoys trying new restaurants in and around Boston with her husband, a physician, when he is not on call.

Molly McCafferty has served as MAXCourage’s Program Director, and the editorial director of The Courage of Children, since 2022. She holds a Bachelor's of Arts in History and Literature from Harvard College and a Master's of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Before coming to MAXCourage, she taught high school English Language Arts in Boston. Molly is passionate about amplifying youth voices and helping kids access writing as a tool for self-discovery and systemic change. She loves reading, vegetarian cooking, and hiking with her dog.
Fabian Vasquez

Originally from Texas, Fabian Vasquez joins MAXCourage with 5 years of fundraising experience in the non-profit space. Equipped with degrees in Economics and Political Science, he comes to this work with knowledge equalling his passion. While not at work, he likes to spend his time making music, writing, trying new recipes, and playing with his two cats. While new to the Boston area, he is excited to explore New England and make it a new home.

Farrah joins MAXCourage after more than three and a half years with the Advancement team at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Salve Regina University, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Farrah brings extensive experience in nonprofit marketing and a strong commitment to supporting mission-driven work. She spends her summers in Mattapoisett, MA, and enjoys reading, the outdoors, and quality time with family and friends.
